HOW CAN WE RESERVE YOU FOR OUR WEDDING?
Please use the contact form to inquire about your date. If your date is available, I’d love to set up a time to get together for casual conversation and to chat about your wedding plans. I shoot a limited number of weddings each year to be able to give couples my full attention and creative energy so it’s important to me to get to know the folks I work with. Once we’ve met, I do my best to give priority to couples I’ve gotten to know but ultimately, all dates are booked on a first come, first served basis. A date is reserved after I receive a signed contract and retainer.
WILL YOU TRAVEL TO OUR WEDDING?
I am based in Nevada City, CA and frequently photograph weddings all over Northern California including Sacramento, San Francisco, the Greater Bay Area, Sonoma, Napa and Lake Tahoe. I have photographed weddings in Hawaii, Washington, Oregon, Nevada and Texas and would be happy to travel to your wedding wherever it is taking place, nationally or internationally.
HOW MANY IMAGES WILL WE RECEIVE?
The most important thing for me is to focus on the quality of the photographs and not the quantity. Generally, you can expect 50-75 images per hour of coverage. The photos you receive will be polished, high resolution images that tell the story of your wedding day. Photos will be posted to a private online gallery within 4-8 weeks (depending on the time of year).
SHOULD WE GIVE YOU A SHOT LIST?
A list of the family members you’d like included in the family group photos would be a big help. Having a list of your nearest and dearest will keep everyone organized and we’ll be able to work through the groups efficiently so family can join the reception as soon as possible. An average list includes 5-10 different groups. Other than those groupings, I work best without a checklist. Of course if you are planning something unexpected please let me know, otherwise, I will be focused on capturing the celebration through unscripted moments in a photojournalistic way.
WHAT ABOUT BACKUP GEAR?
It’s never been a problem but should there be an equipment issue, back ups will be in place.
