Group Hug

After the requisite morning trip to the park (Timber, my black lab, won’t let me get anything done until she gets in her frisbee time), I stopped at the post office to check my mail. And, what should I find hidden beneath the PG&E bill (lame), photo magazine (score) and miscellaneous junk mail (lame again)… why, thank you cards from couples Lisa + James and Megan + Mike! Man, you guys are the best! I don’t know what I did to get clients like you but I am so glad we connected! So, so nice. Thank YOU!

Here’s Timber (and her slobbery frisbee) at the park.

Sara + John Say Yes Please

Sara and John sprinkled their wedding day with downtown Sacramento flavor. They bounced around L Street effortlessly, moving from the Hyatt to Pioneer Congregational Church to MIX Downtown. When you pair venues like that with amazing people like Sara and John, add a dash of close friends and family, you’ve got yourself a recipe for a fantastic wedding (and it was).

Erin + Cody Empire Mine, Grass Valley

I recently met Erin and Cody at Empire Mine State Park in Grass Valley for their engagement photos. They brought their dogs Bo and Gus (or “Fez” depending on who’s calling him) and they were great throughout the day; such mellow dogs. Afterward, we drove down to Bullards Bar Reservoir for some photos on their speed boat. And when I say speed boat, I mean SPEED boat. Cody built and installed the engine himself. I’m already looking forward to their wedding next month!

Monica + Shane Get Hitched

Monica and Shane were married at the The Firehouse Restaurant in Old Sacramento surrounded by vines, brick and close family and friends. We started their day with some colorful portraits at the beautiful Citizen Hotel in downtown Sacramento. The last shot is the three of us before calling it a night. Congrats Shane and Monica!
